NAIROBI, Sept. 8 (Xinhua) -- Kenyan retired star Innocent Simiyu was on Tuesday reappointed as the head coach of Kenya's rugby sevens side.
Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) boss Oduor Gangla said in a statement issued in Nairobi that Simiyu will take over the job on a two-year contract.
Chinese fans are fond of the football played by German clubs, he said. "The Bundesliga is big in China," Klein commented.
"We are already working hard to achieve our goal of going to Qatar. It's a challenge that affects all of Ecuador. We know it's not going to be easy and we're focused on giving everything we've got."
PRAGUE, Sept. 5 (Xinhua) -- Kenya's Peres Jepchirchir broke the women-only half marathon world record in Prague on Saturday morning.
Simiyu's first tenure courted controversy when the national team commonly known as 'Shujaa' refused to wear a kit emblazoned with their sponsors Brand Kenya in the Paris leg of the World Series in 2018.
The women's one-hour race saw a close battle between Hassan and Kenya's world marathon record-holder Brigid Kosgei. The duo stayed well ahead of the world record pace as they exchanged the lead several times but neither managed to break clear.
After Hamilton peeled off after one racing lap to serve his penalty, Gasly assumed the lead ahead of the Alfa Romeos of Kimi Raikkonen and Antonio Giovinazzi who were followed by Sainz, as Stroll fell down to sixth after a poor start and almost took Raikkonen out as he overshot the Roggia chicane.
Steven Bergwijn scored the game's only goal in the 61st minute, firing in from close range. After breaking the deadlock, Dwight Lodeweges's team controlled the game at the Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam, restricting Poland to just one shot on target.
Lithuania continued their dominance in the second half, and broke the deadlock in the 50th minute when Donatas Kazlauskas capitalized on a mistake from an Albanian defender to score with a low shot.
Team captain Sergio Ramos continues to be vital, as much for his ability to intimidate rivals as for his positional sense, and the 34-year-old is showing few signs of slowing down, while Zidane will be looking for more progress from young Brazilian wingers Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo.
